  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Ground black pepper
  • 2 lb beef chuck cut into ½ inch pieces

  • ¼ tsp cayenne
  • 3 tbsp curry powder
  • 2 cans unsweetened coconut milk

  • First, generously season the meat with pepper and salt. In a large skillet, heat up the oil over some medium high heat. Add in the beef and cook it for 5 minutes while flipping it only once until they appear golden brown per side. After it’s done, transfer it to a plate and set it aside.
  • In the skillet, add in the onion and let it cook for about 5 minutes until it’s soft. Add in the ginger, spices, and garlic until it starts to become fragrant for 1 minute. Add in the coconut oil to the mixture and let it simmer on low heat. Add in the beef and then let it simmer for about 1 and a half hours until the meat starts to become soft. Once done, serve it with lime, naan, and yogurt.
