Keto Baked Salmon Pesto

Sometimes, you can turn a simple dish into a symphony with flavor and still resemble a fine course meal. This baked salmon pesto recipe will surely put all your taste buds on fire in a good way. It has the right balance of basil and that nutty pesto flavor to produce the best tasting dish you can have with your family. Even better, it’s a great addition to your meal if you are on a keto diet, because salmon is rich in protein. 

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs salmon 
  • 4 tbsp pesto 
  • salt 
  • pepper 
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ greek full fat yogurt 

Baked Salmon Pesto Cooking Procedure: 

  • In a baking dish, make sure to grease it up with olive oil or cooking spray then put the salmon skin side down. 
  • Add the salt and the pepper, and then spread the pesto on top of the salmon. Bake it for 30 minutes at 400°F (200°C). Or until the salmon is cooked. 
  • While the salmon is cooking, you can stir in the mayonnaise, yogurt and pesto together to make the sauce. 
  • Once the fish is done cooking, serve it hot with the pesto on the side. 

Useful Tips: 

You can add some veggies to this dish and some lemon to add a little bit more flavor to the salmon pesto if you want. You can also try vinaigrette
