Ham and Swiss Egg Sandwiches

Sandwiches are always the best way to make your kids excited especially if there’s ingredients that they love. This simple sandwich recipe will make your kids want to keep eating sandwiches or maybe bring it to school with them. 

Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs 
  • 4 slices of emmentaler or swiss cheese 
  • 4 thinly sliced low sodium deli ham 
  • Cooking spray 
  • 4 english muffins split into two 

Cooking Procedure: 

  • First, preheat your broiler to a high temperature. In a non stick skillet, spray some cooking oil and heat up the skillet under medium high heat. Add in the ham and saute it for 2 minutes until the ham is slightly brown. Recoat the pan again with some cooking spray and add in the eggs. Cook the eggs for 4 minutes or until it’s cooked to your preference. 
  • Once the eggs are done, set them aside and slice the 4 muffins in half and place them on a baking sheet side up. Put 1 cheese slice each and let it broil for 2 minutes until the cheese starts to melt. Divide the ham among the muffin halves and top it with the eggs.
