Vegetable Pizza

Here’s an all time favorite made into a healthy dish. This simple pizza recipe is very easy to make and is not time consuming. You can have it for dinner with your kids! 

Ingredients: 

  • 2 halved garlic cloves 
  • ½ cup pesto or tomato sauce 
  • 1 medium sweet julienned yellow pepper 
  • ⅓ cup chopped fresh basil 
  • 1 cup shredded part skum mozzarella cheese 
  • ½ tsp fresh or dried oregano 
  • 1 pre baked 12 inch thin pizza crust 
  • ¾ cup chopped fresh spinach 
  • 2 large thinly sliced portobello mushrooms
  • 2 seeded and sliced plum tomatoes 
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese 

Cooking Procedure: 

  • First, preheat your oven to 450°. After that, on an ungreased pizza pan, place the 12 inch pizza crust and rub the side of the garlic cloves on the crust. Spread the pesto or tomato sauce and top it with mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, basil, yellow pepper and sprinkle with oregano and cheese. 
  • Bake until the cheese is melted and the crust is crunchy for 15 minutes.
