Oven-Fried Pork Chops

Anything coated with bread crumbs and is crispy will be a hit with your kids. This simple pork chop recipe is not your ordinary favorite fried food because it’s made with healthy ingredients and we are sure your kids are going to love it. 

Ingredients:

  • Cooking spray 
  • 1 lightly beaten egg 
  • 1 tsp mustard 
  • 1 tsp ground pepper 
  • ½ tsp salt 
  • ¾ cup whole wheat bread crumbs
  • 4 ¾ inch thick boneless pork chops 
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour 

Cooking Procedure:  

  • First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Then place a large baking sheet on a rack and coat it with cooking spray. In a shallow dish, place the flour and then combine with the dijon mustard, beaten egg in another clean dish. In another separate bowl, combine the bread crumbs and pepper. 
  • On the pork, coat it with salt and pepper then dip it in the flour shaking off all the excess. Next, coat it in the egg mixture, then the bread crumbs. Once you are done coating everything evenly, you can place the pork chops on the rack and place them in the oven. Coat the pork chops with cooking oil and let it bake for 20 minutes. Once done, serve it with veggies or some mashed potatoes if you want.
