Bacon mixed with anything is always good. What if you mix it with chicken though, what would happen? It’s the bomb! This simple recipe will bring your two favorites together giving you a fusion of different flavors. It’s delicious and can be enjoyed by all members of your family.
Ingredients:
- Kosher Salt
- Fresh Ground Pepper
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- ½ drained and defrosted frozen spinach
- ⅓ chopped artichoke hearts
- Shredded mozzarella
- 4 oz softened cream cheese
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 4 strips bacon cut into 4 strips
Cooking Procedure:
- First, preheat your oven to 400°. In a baking tray, put in a large baking sheet with foil. Make slits width wise in the chicken. Make sure not to cut all the way. Then season the entire chicken breast with salt and pepper. Place it on the baking sheet.
- In a bowl, put in the spinach, artichokes, cream cheese, and mozzarella then season it with salt pepper, and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Fill in the chicken slits with the mixture and fill in the remaining slits with pieces of bacon. The remaining mozzarella, you can sprinkle on top of the chicken and pour some oil on top.
- Let it bake in the oven for about 35 minutes until it looks golden brown and crispy.
