Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Kids love pancakes and when they taste this recipe, they will love it even more. This is a classic twist between normal pancakes and healthy treats for your kids to enjoy. It’s yummy, and great for picky eaters! 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 large egg 
  • 1 cup milk 
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter 
  • 1/2 cup all natural peanut butter 
  • 1 cup multigrain pancake mix
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips 

Cooking Procedure: 

  • First, heat up your oven to 200 degrees F. In a large bowl,  stir in the pancake mix, peanut butter, vanilla, egg, milk, and chocolate chips together. After that, melt in about 1 teaspoon of butter in a non stick skillet over medium high heat. Pour in three to four ¼ cupfuls of batter to the skillet. 
  • Start forming pancakes in the skillet and cook it until you can see the top of the batter start to bubble and the edges begin to darken in color. From this point, you can turn it over and cook it for another 2 minutes until both sides are golden brown. Transfer the pancakes into a baking pan and keep it warm in the oven until it’s ready to serve.
