  • Salt
  • Fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • Zest and juice of lemon
  • 2 tbsp chopped dill
  • Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 ¼ c heavy cream

Cooking Procedure:

  • First, season all the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium high heat. Add in the salmon with the skin side facing up and cook for 6 minutes until it’s golden brown and seared. Flip again and cook for 5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Set aside.
  • Using the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and melt the butter. Add in the garlic and let it cook for 3 seconds. Add in the flour and let it cook for 30 seconds. Whisk in the heavy cream and let it simmer and thicken slightly. Cook it for 4 minutes then add the lemon juice and zest along with the dill. Season everything with salt and pepper then put the salmon back in the skillet and let it simmer for 1 minutes.
  • Once done serve with red pepper flakes.
