Chia seeds are a good way to stay healthy. Plus it makes an easy snack for when you need to leave early in the morning to bring your kids to school. This simple recipe will be an energy booster for your kids.
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp honey
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- Kiwi, blueberry or other fruits
- ½ cup almond milk or any milk of your choice
Cooking Procedure:
- In a jar, pour in all the ingredients and mix everything together until it’s fused. Let it sit for 3 minutes and then mix again until you can see that there’s no clumping.
- Cover the jar with a lid and let it sit in the fridge overnight. Or, if you want to serve it right away, you can leave it in the fridge for 2 hours.
- When you’re ready to give it to your kids, put some fruit on top and serve it while its cold.
