This easy breakfast recipe packs all kinds of healthy nutrients your kids will enjoy. It contains bananas for sweetness, oats for fiber, cottage cheese for protein, and some chia seeds to make it stick together. Your kids will absolutely love this recipe!
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4c unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4c old fashioned oats
- 1 ripe banana
- ½ low fat cottage cheese
Cooking Procedure:
- In a small bowl, put in the bananas and microwave it for 30 seconds until they become soft. Add in the cottage cheese and mash it together with the bananas until they are fused together thoroughly.
- Add in the chia seeds, milk, oats, and the vanilla into the mix and stir everything properly. After everything is mixed in, cover it up and put it in the refrigerator. Leave it there for 6 hours or overnight and top it with toasted walnuts, shredded unsweetened coconuts, ground cinnamon, or toasted walnuts.
